有没有听过一个故事？。。。。
从前,有一只鸭子,他一直和几只鸭子和一群丑小鸭生活着。
丑小鸭们都很羡慕鸭子、经常赞美鸭子。
可是鸭子知道，还有一种叫天鹅的，生活在不远处。
它偶尔碰见过，可是丑小鸭们不曾，
它们觉得面前的这只鸭子已经很完美了。
鸭子没办法解释让丑小鸭们知道天鹅的美丽。
生活久了，赞美听多了，虚荣心是有点了，
鸭子有时宁可不再碰见天鹅，继续生活在丑小鸭群中。
可是后来，鸭子必需离开，开始生活在天鹅群中。
纵使一开始鸭子就清楚明白自己不是天鹅，
它没有奢望过自己会有变成天鹅的一天。
他只想做只鸭子，有或者比一般鸭子好一点点。
可是慢慢的，鸭子开始有点迷失了自己，
有时候迷糊中，它会以为自己也变成了天鹅。
可是，现实的日子让鸭子过得越来越辛苦。
它发现自己在天鹅群中，自己也只不过是一只丑小鸭，
又或许，它一直以来，都只是一只丑小鸭
童话故事的丑小鸭最后变成了天鹅，
鸭子，会吗？

其实, 类似的故事也发生在一只鸡身上. 从前, 鸡以为自己是天鹅, 可是当它渐渐长大, 发觉自己越来越不像天鹅, 而是像鸡时, 它就只好离开天鹅群, 回到属于自己的鸡群中.
其实很多动物小的时候都很像, 所以它们分不清自己是哪一种, 等长大了, 特征就明显了, 到时候就可以回到属于自己的族群了.
这世界并不只是有天鹅群, 鸭子也可以有群的.
Most often than not, there are people better or different than you. There is no need to lose your own identity. Understand where you stand, appreciate the goodness that has happened, and just enjoy life. Sometimes circumstance may lead to forgetting identity, but thinking back of roots and friends who were around you will prob bring you back.

p/s fitting in with different groups of people or different situations/circumstances is not, to me, a way of losing identity.

yep... i'm also a duck... seriously... i've been searching ways to become swan here... but i failed... time is running out for me... and i have realized that there are things that i cant do... to become swan... So might as well be a duck and swim slowly to places that the stream leads... enjoy the journey... instead of forcing the duck to fly like the swan in the sky... Anyway... there are always ducks like me around welcoming other ducks... =P

just to add, every duck is different. there is also difference between a duck and swan. the difference may not be advantageous/disadvantageous. it is most often than not, a mix. =) try to look on the brighter side, maybe you'll feel better.

最重要是鸭子知道每种动物都不一样. 上天没说天鹅才能吃鱼.
应该跟小善去动物园一趟...
